In order to protect the children and their families from the virus as much as possible, we not only distribute soap, masks and disinfectants, but we also disinfect the children's living area 2 to 3 times a week. BoxMeo @box_meo is a German start up company that wanted to find a simple solution for the hygienic use of masks for the poorest people in the world. So they developed this box that uses solar energy to inactivate the coronaviruses on the mask. We are thrilled that @box_meo , together with Siemens Switzerland, has donated 3,000 boxes, along with 3,000 masks to the Sunshine Project. We are now distributing these to our children and their family members. India, and Delhi in particular, is in a humanitari

India, and Delhi in particular, is in a humanitarian emergency. In the middle of it all is our Sunshine Project, which looks after 270 street children and whose work is set back by years 😢. The financial burden has increased drastically, as Kuku, the head of the project, is also taking care that the families of his 270 protégés are provided with food, clean drinking water and masks etc., as the parents have lost their small relief jobs due to the pandemic. You can support the project by becoming a sponsor (15€/month) or simply leave a donation online on the website (www.spenden-helfen-sunshineprojectindia.de) 🙏
